A lie detector test is not a good source, because it is wishy washy. However if you agreed to take the test to prove your innocence and failed, you just allowed it to be used for better or worse. Usually it is inadmissable, because if you are a nervous indivdual it can create a false positive, or an inconclusive. Your lawyer can explain it further.
