Has genuinely scared you, as an adult?
And how so!
You may name more than one.
I am hard to scare but I'd like to rent some to watch late at night when the thunder and lightening and fierce wind knock at my house.
Thank you much!

Beyondre, everyone, you MUST see Stephen King's "The Night Flier" one of the most horrifying films I have ever seen. Have watched it all of 7 times, after which I could not sleep.

The first Candy man I was watching in the dark . . then just to prove to myself, it was all humbug, I put all the lights on . . went to the bathroom mirror and took long pauses before
saying twice, then thrice. And after that just shut my eyes very tightly, waiting paralyzed for the C. Man's hook to split my back open!
How silly, huh?
The Ring, I've never seen, nor The Hills have Eyes!
The Hostel I went to see with my teenage nephew, who afterwards criticized me for having invited him to such a "poser" movie, whatever that is! I never in my life have apologized so much for a blunder!!!

The Blair Witch Project I saw, but did very little to me.

Saw 1, disgusted me, although I did not understand it.
Saw 2 I did not like.
Saw 3, my nephew highly recommends, and tells me it is Gruesome as it is Awesome!
Saw 4 I probably will see, after seeing # 3.
Although that lumpy cheeked guy with the targets painted on them, I have begun to hate . . for some odd reason, I can not comprehend!

Any other, people?

Candy man- before you watch it turn off the lights and go in and say candy man 3 times in the mirror and then watch the movie.
The Ring
The Shining
An American Haunting
Original Amittyville horror
Some documentaries on A & E called real haunting or something like that.
I am like you hard to scare, so there really aren't that many out there that are scary. There are plenty that are scary because they are just plain scarily bad and poorly made. I am not a big fan overall of slasher films, although candy man is kind of one.

The Ring seriously creeped me out.

Haven't seen Saw 4 yet, but Saw 3 was pretty disgusting and a bit hard for me to watch at times.

Only 1 horror movie has ever scared me. The Shining. But I was 9 at the time. Audition is pretty gruesome and creepy.
