1 and then take them to a family shelter and have them give a toy and a blanket to someone who needs them. Teach them something more important that what they get, teach them what they can give.

in my family Santa leaves 3 or 4 unwrapped toys by the tree and the stocking...
we don't put any presents under the tree until my son is in bed Christmas Eve...the wow factor the next morning is so much fun

My kids get 3 "medium priced" toys from Santa and then whatever is in the stocking. All expensive gifts are from mommy and daddy.

I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. 'Santa' is going to leave her a few little gifts in her stocking. The rest are from mommy and daddy.

well i have always told my kids that 2 are from Santa and the rest are from mom and dad~~~i don't think he deserves all that credit!!!!besides i tell them the sleigh wont hold anymore then that he has alot of places to go~~~~~

it deppends on how much you want to spend,and if you want to spoil them.when i was that age i was spoiled.the entire bottom of the tree was filled with toys for me!
