Scrabble..........It's my game and has been since I got my first scrabble set as a Christmas gift from an uncle at age 10.........It makes a person think whereas Monopoly is just luck with the roll of the dice...........I can't help but brag a little, my high game was 575 and I don't usually score under 300 per game.........Sorry but I had to add that in............CAT

I like Scrabble better than Monopoly. I don't really like to play either, though. When my family gets together at my mom's
we play a game called Apples to Apples and also Catch Phrase. Both very fun!

Scrabble. My husband and I are very competitive in it. Monopoly is boring and it takes forever to complete a game.

Neither.

There has been a revolution in the last fifteen years for board games leaving the older designs behind. These newer games are published by smaller companies (vs Hasbro who bought up all the old companies such as Parker Brothers & Milton Bradley) and are harder to find as they do not get shelf space at Wall Mart or Toys R Us. These newer designer style games, often called "Euros" give far more enjoyment than either title.

Of course I am partly bias as I cannot spell and like wargames.

Scrabble, but no one wants to play because I tend to win all the time. Scrabble is a great way to improve your vocabulary. I always need improvement!

Monopoly all the way. I like word games like puns and such, but don't care for scrabble.
