My question:- If there were 100 men age 20 years old, living under?

a similar enviroment for the next 50 years, no wars. by the time they reached 70 years old, approximately how many will still be alive?
This is not to a trick question, I am just curious, any profesionals out there who can answer this thanks.

This would be a great study to perform, but without such a study it is really not possible to give an accurate "guess".

Anyone answering this question who does not have a study to back it up is simply guessing and as such all answers are equally valid.

However, I do not see such a study possible because to conduct such a study you would have to take 100 twenty year old boys out of the regular world society and place them in a protective enviroment. This would be unconstitutional in most countries. In those countries who would conduct such a study they would be viewed as barbaric and justifiably so. This would take the lives and freedom of choice away from the boys and that is simply wrong. Now, if the study was able to get the boys to vollunteer, by lets say, offering them a huge salary, one which would take into account their lifetime earning capabilities had they entered the world stage with a degree, then perhaps we could conduct it with accuracy and ethically and morally validity. Without such vollunterring it would be slavery and wrongful incarceration and stealing the lives and freedoms of these boys.

The study would also have to take into account the health history of the candidites, as well as each ones tendency to engage in risky behaviors and control their diets or watch their diets closely, depending upon the desired results. Such a study could provide insight to any number of issues.

Also, why not add women into the mix? After all just isolating males would be pure torture by denying the boys their inate need for companionship with the opposite sex. Without the opportunity to forge relationships of this nature, we would find results which would be skewed in the direction of gayness. After all, in prisons men turn to each other for such intimate needs on a regular basis, while being completely hetrosexual on the outside. It is a "secret" but now it is not such a well kept secret. Men who do this have the rule of not speaking of it when released from prison.

It would be very educational on many fronts to conduct such a study. We could learn many different affects of such isolated and controlled enviroment. We could see how men who are so isolated conduct themselves over the course of a lifetime and see how aggressive they are when all their "needs" are provied for. Again, we would need to add women, otherwise their needs would not be met and ill formed habits and behaviors would result, which would be malfunctioning in extreme.

Good question and thought provoking, but not a study which I see ever occurring. There are too many human right issues involved and too many errors which would form maladusted results skewed in many ways not normal to the regular mix of men and women in the general population.
