I know he's not...just wondering if there's an explanation...maybe something happened during his tenure in the NFL? Listening him to him on the Rizzo on WKNR in Cleveland...he's always entertaining but...just wondering.

I have it on pretty good authority that he actually is a pretty heavy drinker these days. He actually was denied a management position in the organization because of his problem. A lot of it Im sure has to do with his money grubbing wife and her 3 brothers that he has been supporting financially, but you do have to pull for the guy. He was once a very devout outspoken Christian but unfortunately he has fallen away it seems. Hopefully with his new arena league team he will clean up his act.

At first, I thought he was drunk too. However, it has been brought up often on the radio, and they claim it is from the hits he took as a QB. I don't think he would be given an Arena League franchise if he was a drunk.
#19 was / is my favorite Brown ever!

I think it's just the way he talks. A lot of people who sound like that do not open their mouths completely when they speak.
