I have it on pretty good authority that he actually is a pretty heavy drinker these days. He actually was denied a management position in the organization because of his problem. A lot of it Im sure has to do with his money grubbing wife and her 3 brothers that he has been supporting financially, but you do have to pull for the guy. He was once a very devout outspoken Christian but unfortunately he has fallen away it seems. Hopefully with his new arena league team he will clean up his act.

At first, I thought he was drunk too. However, it has been brought up often on the radio, and they claim it is from the hits he took as a QB. I don't think he would be given an Arena League franchise if he was a drunk.
#19 was / is my favorite Brown ever!

I think it's just the way he talks. A lot of people who sound like that do not open their mouths completely when they speak.
