I live in Detroit - and we have a station that from November 1st - Christmas plays ONLY Christmas songs ... i have to unprogram this station from my car when this time comes -- because if i hear any type of jingle it depresses me! ... i have never really had anything bad happen to me that would relate to Christmas - its just an automatic response!
Is anyone else like this?

Sounds like you have that seasonal depression. It happens to many I think, and my sister-in-law told me that my brother has a really hard time this time of year.
We used to have really crappy holidays when I was a kid, so you know... perhaps you associate it with something bad like that.
If you think about a time that makes you happy, maybe that will help.
