Another poster's question started me thinking about this song; now, I can't let it go. I have searched everywhere but can't find it. Some of the lyrics are:

Guy singing. Thought it might be Dr. Hook, but apparently not.
Please help. Need someone who remembers this song, since I can't find it through lyrics, alone.
