Not yet, since we always get a fresh one, we love the smell it brings into the house. we get the tree about a week or two before xmas. we choose different lights for it over the years it has been blue/gold, red/white,purple, white/purple,blue/purple not sure what we will do this year. this will be a wonderful year since our 2 year old is into holidays now, i can't wait to put up the tree since she will be so excited. you really do live through your childrens eyes. we have hallmark ornaments and disney ornaments that we use, and we also buy a new one celebrating our marriage every year and one for her every year which we have not done yet. i also use antique birds that clip on the limbs. this year will not be a theme which it normally it is not anyway, it is a tree celebrating our likes, and love. I hope you have a wonderful tree and enjoy it as much as we do. Sometimes we leave it up way into jan. since we love them so much.

It is green, artificial, tall and skinny to accommodate the space in our family room. I will use the traditional ornaments that I have collected over the years some which belonged to my parents. Usually decorate the second weekend in December. I am already dreading it. My husband makes such a BIG deal out of helping me with the lights. Once THAT is done I have some fun.

Green don't like the white ones. The kids just put up all the ornaments we've had for years . The tree is usually up before Thanksgiving .

We have an artificial (green) tree that is already strung with lights. We'll put it up the day after Thanksgiving, and put lots of bright ornaments on.

not anymore, i gave mine to my sister.
it was white and i would decorate it the day after Thanksgiving. i had all blue and silver ornaments with white garlands to fill in the empty spots. no tinsel, that's too much of a hassle to clean up.
