A friend of mine recently quit her job due to amount of illegal activities being carried on throughout the business. This includes federal and state tax information, as well as social security fraud. She thinks she ought to report them annonymously, her husband says to leave it alone. They are asking me for an opinion...What do you guys think? Is she being just as dishonest by letting this continue? Or should she let it slide and hope karma kicks in?

Report it! Your friend has a moral obligation to tell what she knows. She can report the SSA fraud at: http://www.ssa.gov/oig/hotline/

It's completely anonymous.

I'd report it. Karma sometimes needs a nudge.

This may not be a very nice thing to say, but I would just walk from it and don't look back. They will get there's in the end and your friend won't have to always be looking over her shoulder to see who mite want to get back at her for turning them in. I would say let it go!
