Because "emo" people cant spell.
but other then that, everybody does not hate "emo" people, they think they are different, but this does not just relate to the "emo" genera, look at the "goths", or the "rappers",or even the "hicks" it all depends on whos point of view you are looking from. if you are "emo" do you hate the "preps/jocks/popular kids" who make fun of you or hate you? most likely you do have some negative feelings towards them, but its just in our nature to fear things that are different, and most people cover up this fear by making fun, or putting down on the other.
so try and do your part to be better then the ones who hate you, or your music, and just be what you want to be.
P.S. it should always be about the music, no matter what.

Because people don't understand the emo world. Many people just think of emos as disturbed kids with nothing better to do than kill themselves. Some are mentaly disturbed, but not all. Same goes for goths. People believe the sterotype that all goths are evil and worship satin. Not all goths are bad. Just goes to show you that sterotypes rule the world.

because they slit their writs and crave for attension. plus their funny is funny, and bands like my chemical romance promote emos to kill themselfs
