computers and materiel 2 teach the basics of hardcore sciences i.e, physics,engineering,biological and eart sciences.mathematicsastronomy and related disciplines and sciences,earth sciences i.e.anthropolgy etc, because we r living in a high tech world..basics in the form of stories,arts n crafts,n cartoon movies can even begin in the lower grades!

The grant is almost useless since it is less than 10 000 per school. If the schools already have a computer network, then use it to upgrade the software. If not, then spend it on replacing worn out texts and getting new ones.

Grants generally are given for a particular purpose which is described in the grant application. The money should be spent on whatever the grant was specified for.
I've never heard of even the government just saying "Hey, here's some money - enjoy"

Be sure you have an abundance of regular supplies for all grades. Ask other teachers what they think should be done with any money left over and give it consideration. Leave some aside for a school party of some sort, cook out, candy, contest..etc.
