Wow. You need education and anger management.
1. George W Bush, as Governor of Texas, instituted a wind farm program that supplies power to over 650K homes in Texas completely cleanly. His Crawford, TX ranch is totally energy efficient and is not drawing power from the grid. Can Al "Global Warming" Gore say that? No. But Bush is painted as being an energy waster and Gore, who is making money off the scam hand over fist, is painted as a saint? Please!
2. When 9/11 took place, he led the country through it with a warm demeanour and a conviction to bring about victory. Get a clue... he doesn't 'create' terrorism, buddy... show me ONE bit of evidence to support that slanderous remark. Of course you have none, so you are spreading a hateful lie... so maybe YOU create terrorism? How would you like it if people were accusing you of being a terrorist? They don't need evidence to do so... after all... you don't have any and you spew that propaganda... so I figure you'd have no trouble if, say, your neighbour or someone at work who doesn't like you just started going around calling you a terrorist, right?
3. He vetoed SCHIP expansion, which is nothing more than an attempt to give illegal immigrants up to age 25 free health care from OUR tax dollars. Anyone who read the bill... knows that. I find it pathetic that they started accusing Bush of trying to kill 'children' when the law doesn't allow hospitals to turn away people just because they can't pay... this just means we're not going to pay their BILL for them.
4. He put tax cuts into effect that relieved a burden from many Americans (and don't even bother with the moronic 'for the rich' crap because I am far from rich and it helped me) that the Democrats now want to repeal because they want the money in THEIR pockets, not ours.
5. He deposed a dictator who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people and gave Iraq an OPPORTUNITY for freedom. Now whether they take it or not is up to them... but under Saddam's oppressive thumb, there was no chance for them to ever have such a commodity as liberty.
(footnote here ~ don't bother with your "Iraq is an illegal war" or "there were no WMDs, he lied" or "Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11" because I can shred every one of those claims with facts... easily. These are just desperate mantras of people who cannot deal with the facts. I'm not getting into all that over a question that is asking about what he has done)
6. He threw the Taliban out of Afghanistan and now girls there can go to school instead of being kept as second-class citizens with no chance for a future brighter than being an accessory to a man. How's that for women's liberation?
7. He's maintained his cool through months of uninformed morons calling him every name in the book while he works to protect them from those who would see our very way of life go away. I'd challenge you to walk a mile in his shoes sometime... you'd not last a day. Every joker who thinks he has a brain making remarks about how stupid the President is should stop flipping burgers long enough to realize that no one who is stupid could ever really become President. Do you have any idea what the job of the President involves on a daily basis?
Think you can do a better job? Run.
Otherwise... your criticism means little... to nothing.

You ask a question and then edit to tell people to not respond with anything that you don't want to hear (terrorism).
Your opinions are just that, opinions and everyone has them. So, don't ask a question and then expect to get only answers that are in sync with your opinions.
The decent things that President Bush has done fall on deaf ears to those such as yourself. But I will answer the question anyway.
He has made me proud to be an American again after the embarrassment of Clinton!

he does alot and people like you manipulate it to make him look bad, that is how bad this country is getting. Something that is working they will say it's in spite of it instead of because of it. If we didn't have a congress that was more interested in partisan politics and sabbotaging the president they might get some work done.
We had two of the worse disasters causing huge losses both time to the economy.
9/11 shut down the Stock Exchange and many businesses espcially the airlines, Katrina, stopped some oil production as well as Lousiana & Mississippi's share of contributions to the economy.
Yet the economy is going strong, look at the stock exchange now, it has broken so many record highs this year.
over 95% of this country is employed, I would say that's a pretty good thing for the nation.
No Child Left Behind is working, in fact I think they are going to or already re-authorized it, but I'm not sure the exact facts and I don't want to say anything that didn't happen.
and as much as you would rather chose your politics over your country their is progress being made in Iraq.

300.00 tax rebate, did you send yours back?
No Child Left Behind.
Got elected as President twice, did you?
Stands up daily to the worst abuse that has ever been heaped on any elected official, could you?
Lowered taxes.
Has decided to honor our tradition of winning wars instead of giving up.
Some of these things might not seem like good things to you, they might not seem like good things to me either, but at least he is trying to address the issues instead of dallying with any available skirt that walks by. I think we could have done a lot worse, and we might get our chance very soon.
