From The Sun regarding news that 2 of the Tapas 9 may be changing their story.

Uh Clarence, the 2 said they wanted to remain anonymous to avoid pressure by the McCanns and their friends. Can you see the problem in you phoning them up and asking them if they were the ones going to change their story?
The man is a grade A moron (yep, you can take that one to your lawyers Clarrie and see if Ive defamed you).
Even if the story turns out to be untrue, as Delly has said, the see of doubt has been planted .... now suddenly they won't know who's spilling the beans and who's not. That alone makes the story worthwhile, even if its not true :)

If they want to remain anonymous, then why the hell would they tell Clazza and his buddies that it was them, especially if they are already being put under pressure by the McCanns? Clazza is there to boost the reputation of Kate and Gerry, and anything that makes them look remotely bad is either 'ludicrous', 'hurtful', or 'nonsense of the highest order'. You're right, the doubt is now there, and they won't know who's saying what. The story could very possible be untrue, but it's put enough wind up the McCanns for them to make a comment about it.

He was definitely born that way. Perhaps if his clients had co-operated with the Portuguese police, they may have been able to find other leads or reached some kind of conclusion to this case. I'm sure the McCanns and Clarence are probably sweating now thinking that the donations will surely dry up.

Hi dave s. Don't know if he is the biggest, but he is certainly a "size 9". What is he doing in that job anyway. I remember all the hoo haa when he left TV for the job at Westminster. His colleagues treated him as if the heavens had opened and he was going up in a cloud of glory!. He leaves a post like that to be a gofer for a pair of medical chavs. Unbelievable.

welcome back Dave, from "justme" aka shadysback, and to answer you question , yes Clarence is a first class prick and he represents those who cause the death of their daughter, so he is the right company with the maccanns.
I love the way the so called pro maccanns are trying to explain away the evidence that has been building up against the maccanns, it is very entertaining to the point where is has become comical and they have still not dealt with the old evidence the cadaver dogs findings and the DNA, I wonder what O Brien and Tanner had to say when he made his phone call to them . cheers
