Play the song in iTunes, on the bottom left you'll see a box where it says drag album art. if you dont see the box you have to click the arrow button.

You are confusing BUYING a song with getting an iTunes account. NOT the same thing. An iTunes account is FREE. Just sign up for it. Then, with all of the songs loaded on your computer, go to iTunes and click on "get album artwork". The program will search your library for songs and fetch the appropiate art work for that song/albumn. Once the artwork is on your computer synk the Nano to the computer and the artwork will be on the Nano. Your message on making a buying decision was probably prompted by your having had a song selected on iTunes and the program thought that you wanted to BUY that song and it was asking you to make a "payment decision" Also, they might have wanted you to tell them HOW you wanted to pay for any future iTune songs you might purchase later, (which credit card to use) Rest assured, the iTunes album artwork IS free.

You have to buy the songs from iTunes itself, I add music from soundtracks I own, but the artwork doesn't show up. So buy the songs from iTunes.
