I hold myself to high standards, which is good. However, I tend to expect others to hold themselves to the same. But this is rarely the case. The results are that I am usually disappointed by other people. I don't know if I would be any better off if I expected less than I was willing to ask of myself.

They should come back to Earth because most of the time I'm asking for too much from myself!

well i've been taught to always aim high. but i dont think the same applies for expectations cos, when we expect something so high, and when its 'unreachable', it might hurt us back. but aim, when u aim so high, at least u will strive for what u aim.
(am i making any sense? im on medication tonight) *winks*

Yes, my expectations are too high, but I won't lower them. I know it's possible to reach them, because other people have, and I deserve it.
