Since it is coming, prepare your budget now for it. I still think $3.00/gal is a steal for gas. Americans will just have to dig a little deeper into the pocketbooks.

we could be fortunate if gas costs stayed at basically $4.00. With china and india's financial gadget booming a large majority of their 2 billion inhabitants are buying automobiles and for this reason utilising up the call for for gas. a sparkling president isn't waiting to do plenty, be waiting for $6 and perhaps even $7 a gallon for gas interior the no longer so distant destiny. Why could the president care? If we as an entire we don't make a stand with the aid of no longer utilising for each week or the truckers dazzling for each week the place no one could get carry of any variety of cargo or applications then possibly somebody in Washighton could hear. yet for now get used to it.

If it ever hits that amount, I'll be doing the same thing I do now. I carpool when possible (where I live there isn't a reliable mass transit system), and am lucky enough to work 3 miles from my house. There's really nothing anyone in my area can do other than adjust. Those areas that have a good bus or subway lines have the privilege of using one to save money. Unfortunately, it's not that way everywhere. People will always adjust.

I'll keep doing what I do now:
Mass transit to and from work, 2 trips a month to the grocery store, and combining my errands into one drive.
If I spend $30 a month on gas it's a lot, and a full gas tank lasts me 3 weeks.
If groceries go up that much, I'm still way ahead.

Even at $5 a gallon, we would still have the cheapest gas in the world. The rising cost of oil impacts other nations far more than it does us.

Liberals have banned any drilling in the Arctic wastelands of Alaska and have not allowed another refinery to be built in decades.
Supply and demand, liberals don't understand that, they would rather have 50% income tax and have the government buy their gas.

I guess I'll be ridin my Harley to work rain or shine.
The less that I spend on gas the less that goes into the oil executive retirement fund.

I don't know. I'm glad that my commute is short. I hope to be closer to my degree so I can maybe I can begin work out of my home. I doubt that will be likely though. I don't know what my husband will do. He has a commute, 40 minutes each way plus he has to pick up his kids and that's another 40 minutes away. Housing is ridiculously expensive here.
We both already drive economical vehicles. (Honda, Toyota)

Unfortunately, people don't realize that this increase will make everything cost more. Transportation of goods will go up exponentially.

Or vote for a dem and their socialist health care and watch gas go up to 8 bucks a gallon like it is everywhere that has free health care.
I like the " Bush and his evil oil buddies"
Wonder if that person knows the clintons get a large portion of their wealth from Oil?
