Yes, I would consider the Patriots a sucessful team, it's hard not to. No, I am not a fan, I have never been a fan and will never be a fan. And there isn't a thing the fans can say or the team can do that will change that.

Enough with this "cheating" note: It is not a violation to film coaches of the other team-only a violation to do it from the field. The camera was taken off the field in the first quarter-and does not seem to hurt them---------Jimmy Johnson former coach of the cowboys said they did it all the time. Do you think Dallas has a "tainted" championship.
I am so sick and tired of you who throw out the term cheating and simply do not understand what was being done.
Also look at San Fran and Dallas how they cheated the salary cap in order to keep players is that cheating? Is Montana tarnished??
Yes the Pats are successful and more so in this era of salary cap.
And Yes the Patriots are a successful team.
Oh one more thing in the NFL if you dont want another team to "run up" the score-all you have to do is STOP THEM

Big Pats fan! I agree with "js", most of you have no idea what the NFL rules dictate, but your all caught up in the "cheating" phrase like monkeys. ALL TEAMS DO IT, HAVE DONE IT AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO IT!!! And I'm sure a bunch more do it from the sidelines just don't get caught. The Patriots did because a former coach that is now the head coach of the team they were playing decided to rat them out.

Uh...Yeah...3 Super Bowls in 6 years...soon to be 4 in 7 years....Team of the Decade...I'd say they are successful...and yes, I'm a fan...originally from Boston...

i am a fan and therefore totally biased but yes they are very successfull..both on and off field.....obviously not perfect but still..i love how they operate as a team and ALWAYS stick together...you will never hear them bad mouthing another team mate or any of the coaches. I totally respect that and their work ethic! GO PATS!

They are a successful team. I am not a fan simply because I don't live in the Boston area and I root for teams that succeed legitimately.

I'm not a fan. They could win 10 super bowls in a row, but they will always be known for cheating. You wonder why they had to cheat, even this year, esp. in the game against the Jets. I know a lot of people feel that way too. It doesn't help by running the scores up either. This is not college, where they go by how many you win by.

They definitely have some talent but I can not stand when a team gloats and I hate Tom Brady he is a little b**ch and I have never seen a quarterback cower so fast when a defender is coming at him. I think they have talent but I also think that the Steelers are going to crush them
