99% are con-tricks designed to part you from your money ..
some take 'sign up', 'application' 'processing' joining etc fees, others get you to pay for 'introduction kits' or 'stock for resale' (common now 'bare' Pyramid selling is illegal).
Avoid the 'jokes' such as Surveys etc. .. these 'pay' in 'vouchers' or 'points' and are typically designed only to discover maximum personal information about you for subsequent Identity theft ..
... and watch out for the 419 Advanced Fee frauds (fake 'jobs' typically involving 'cheque cashing' seems to be popular at the moment)
About the only 'home work' that can return a profit is selling on eBay (and other auction sites) .. but if you want to make real profits (rather than just selling your own goods at less than you paid for them) you need to accept that you will have to put in some work .. for example, scour the Charity Shops and attend Car Boot sales at the crack of dawn to find bargain goods ...
... some people have migrated into buying goods from China etc. by the container load and reselling on ebay .. others use 'Drop Shipping' companies (both these carry risks in terms of finding a trustworthy source .. and, if you sell new goods, eventually the Inland Revenue will take an interest ..)

I don't know exactly what type of work you are looking for but if you don't mind call center work then you may want to consider working for 1-800-Flowers. They are currently hiring people to work out of their homes as virtual agents and I recently got hired by them! You make $7.00 an hour plus you get a $3.00 bonus for the first 90 days so it's $10.00 an hour. Go here to apply if you are interested:

It says only part time but full time is available as well. All you need is a noise canceling headset and a phone to plug the headset into. And you definitely don't have to worry about this being a scam! Hope this helps!!

You should never pay for a job, but whenever you want to be a business owner, that usually requires investment. I too recommend www.wahm.com, there are plenty of forums there that discuss the current work at home "jobs". I for one have worked for a few that are legitimate. Because I work full time outside of the home though, its hard to commit. So right now, I have my own business thru a health/dental benefits company where I help people save money for their benefits or help them make money from home. That website is www.freedomathometeam.com/trhonda2000.

Hi! One of my best friends (he has my same name) owns a dating site and he is making lots of money.would you like to own any type of dating site that won't cost you a dime? A dating site that has real profiles for your customers to search as soon as you create it? If you do ,go to: www.alessandro.mylovewebsite.com and click on the link at the end of the page that says " looking for partners in and around santa clara". You can create one even if your not from santa clara. Your job is to advertise your site and make money. I wish you the best and hope that my answer helped you some way. Bye and have a nice day.

This website recommended by a friend of mine. You earn money through survey and referring other people. I only earn $13 last month though cause I was skeptical at first. Didn't do much on the survey. But still it's money.
There's no need to pay anything. Check it out.

I dont think decent working from home jobs exist anymore, well apart from mine but I work full time at an IT company, not the kind of job you are looking for.
