When I went to college states away and went to a completely different time zone, I didn't know not one person, and it was the beginning of me adapting to adulthood.

marriage!
Having an honest, stable, happy home life with the person I love most in the world is a dream come true. My childhood was good in some ways, but there was no sense of stability, and my parents were both alcholics, and you never knew what you would be coming home to.
Scott and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary, and we both love the life we have created together. When I asked what he liked best about being married, he said the stability, my cooking, and the companionship. For me, that was the ultimate compliment, especially with the way I lived before him. We have the highest respect for each other, an ever deepening love, and enjoy each other's company. Its great@!

Living my life, I have made many mistakes and those mistakes have changed my life in many ways, some good, some bad. The one I am most proud of is my children, the one that hurts me the most is looking back on the people I have loved and lost due to loss of their untimely deaths, the one I am most ashamed of is walking out on my second husband when he needed me most, however, it turned out to be the best thing for him he is alive and drug free now.

going to MS to volunteer for the hurricane Katrina Victims...I never volunteered before in my life and now I keep going back and I am more aware of things going on in the world and how much a little can help..I DO NOT TAKE anything or anyone for granted anymore...and I started to do meal on wheels at home in PA when I am able to.. It truly was a life changing experience for me.

Marine Corps boot camp. I was headed in the wrong direction, and it definitely made me who and what I am today. I can attribute all my successes in life to what I learned there, not just boot camp, but the entire 9 years I gave.
