I don't think so. But I don't care. I hope that the articles for impeachment are drawn up. What Cheney has done is significant and needs to be addressed. Even if it goes nowhere, he will be put on notice that he is being closely watched by some.
The dems were able to override a Bush veto. I'm still trying to figure out what that was. Why it happened. I'm a bit suspicious until I find out more.

What exactly has Cheney done that is impeachable ???

I still have not heard a single thing from whining democrat traitors of what is actually impeachable ! just a lot of hot wind coming out of whiney liberals

The democrats in Congress don't have a 2/3 support for anything. They cannot even overide a veto, let alone brin impeachment hearings. It is silly to even talk about it beyond the stage of stating the obvious, that the Bush Administration is incompetent and deceitful, but the American people let them get away with it. It is far too late to cry foul now.

Well, they could have 3/3 and they still would need that pesky little 'commit a high crime or misdemeanor'. Dang the details!!

They lack both the support to carry it out and the backbone to really try

Yesterdays attempt was just an act to try to appease their moveon.org masters.

Oh and they lack an impeachable offense but thats besides the point.

What grounds would you begin proceedings? Do you have evidence that others do not have? If so, please share it with the world and prove that VP Cheney knowingly lied to anyone. Speculation does not constitute as evidence.
