As Chris Rock says, there is a difference between a black person and a n**ger.
Just like there is a difference between white people and honkies (notice I don't have to self-censor the word honkies?).
Why is it that blacks perpetuate the word in song and prose while condemning non-blacks who dare to use the word?

The answer is no, most white people don't, even in private. It's rare indeed that I ever hear it at all unless it's coming out of some black rapper's mouth. Once in a great while, I might hear it, but it always comes out of somebody who is really low-rent.
Then again, I really don't care about the Dog. He's obviously old school. I can't say that anything he says is very important.
*Later*
I just noticed that there are a few idiots who are going around thumbing down any truthful negative answers. *Sigh* Well, I suppose that there is some deep seated psychological need evidenced there. Ok, you don't want honesty? Fine, lets try this instead:
We white people dispise every one of you blacks without reservation or allowance for any decency or achievement that you many represent individually. We all wish that you would just drop dead, every one of you and we white people regret slavery, but only because you stinking cultural parasites are still here because of it. You are never going to achieve anything because with the exception of a few hyper intelligent mutants like Condi Rice and Colin Powell (both of whom probably have a lot of white ancestry in them anyway) you're all dumb as rocks and couldn't pass a standardized test if the answers were tattooed on your genitalia.
Anybody feel better now? Yeah, I thought so.

I do not beleive Dog to be racist. If you watch his show, you'd know that his spiritual advisor is a black man. I'm sure that if we had all heard the full conversation and not just what the media wanted us to hear, we would find out that he was using the N word in reference to the woman's character. I don't use the N word personally, but I used to call my sister in law a "Wigger" because she is white, and she was trying to act like a black gangster. It was all about how she was acting, not her race though.
We all need to stay out of the personal business of these stars. This is the media 1. overstepping the boundries and 2. getting the rest of the country involved in something that is none of our business. I feel sorry for Dog. Imus is a different story, he was stereotyping people he had never met. Dog has met this person, and was speaking about this one specific person.
If we got worked up about people bad mouthing US soldiers like they do this stuff, we might actually get to bring our troops home, but instead Limbaugh gets to stay on the air after calling our soldiers "fake" and "lazy". He disgusts me.

The answer is equal to this:
While in the comfort of their own home or similar environments, do blacks and non-whites use racial slurs when speaking about white people.
Personally, I would guess this figure is at least as much, but probably higher, per-capita wise (and probably moreso in the US).
Though racial slurs are used across all races and demographics, it's obviously something that would occur more often among the less-educated (but definitely occurs otherwise, too).
Personally, and probably like many, I am uncomfortable and may even dislike the company of other races (in general), but whatever race I belong to, or you belong to; there are a millions of people in another race that are better people of higher character than you or I ever will be.
Personally, regardless of race, I am offended more by hatred than by words.
bye.

Lets get real everyone, blacks, whites, asians, muslims, they all talk trash in their own homes. We as a society are getting too politically correct and offended too easily. To say this is a caucasian issue is insane. Listen to what Al Sharpton says, he doesn't use the words, but he is one of the most vile racist people on the planet. To get someone fired for saying something stupid is against the Constitution of the United States. Sharpton has called for peoples jobs and boycotts of jobs based on the race of certain people. Lets wake up and open our eyes and get real.

I don't know about that. Not everyone says racists stuff. But you could already tell Dog and Imus were like that by the mouth on them, they have no limits.

Shut up trouble maker. I'd love to be a fly on your wall. Duane comes from the day when it wasn't a crime to speak freely and the use of the word wasn't a bad thing. He is evolving as the rest of us are. Stop being a hypocrit.

not everyone who uses those type words are racist. i use the N word all the time. I'll admit it. But its usually when I'm mad, and I know the N word really ticks off black people. And if a black person does something to me, I'll use it cuz i know it gets em riled up and upset. I dont use it on EVERY black person, because they all dont piss me off. But then I use the Bict...ya know what word when a chick makes me made too. But not all chicks make me mad. Doesnt mean I hate chicks. I'm a lesbian, I love girls! I use the bad words towards gay guys too when they tick me off too! but i dont hate all gay guys! geeze people, ya'll taking this too seriously. get over it already. and anyone who says they never use that word or never have are liars. we've ALL used racist comments!!!
