Everyone on earth has the right to decide what they want to do with their lives. I have come across people from various walks of life. Some decide for their own, some heel from others' advice and some without any decisions in life. But no matter what decisions you make in life, make sure they are wise and always make you feel happy and satisfied with it.

You cannot do anything with your life except to live it - live it.
You have no choice.
But, You can also choose to kill it;
But I wouldn't advise as we are not sure whether there is another life!
Anyway there isn't anything worse than death - not even love, taxes or wife, children etc. - not even poverty - there are millions who are poorer than you and millions richer than you.
If a cow or a rose or a butterfly can only live once what is the guarantee that the Creator thought it fit to give several lives to us when we kill, starve and torture other animals and human beings out of sadism on the excuse of religion, country or some other division.
Don't you believe that a cat has nine lives - it may have 9 tails! U know I mean the whip.Ha Ha!
Do what ever you like and can while ou are living!

There is a great book called, "What Color is Your Parachute", and it will help you find a career that matches your interests and skills. Finding work that you love is the best way to go, because it really doesn't seem like work at all.
If you are a college aged kid who is wavering, take a year off and support yourself in a series of jobs. Work in a factory, seasonal agricultural work, fast food, etc. Doing good hard work that pays next to nothing is a great way to get yourself focused. My sister was really flighty as a teen and early 20's, and got focused when she ended up working in a pickle factory to pay off some debt. After that, she got a Masters Degree in Business, and has travelled the world in restaurant management, cookbook writing, and is now running a very exclusive mountain resort for the super rich. She just needed to know that she didn't want to be poor, work in a factory, and wanted travel, the good life, and what went with it.
My brother joined the army, and that straightened him out. He always loved airplanes, and used the GI bill to go to avaition mechanic school, and has a very happy life.
Me? I wrote an actual schedule of what I wanted to do, where I wanted to visit, the companies I wanted to work for, and that I eventually wanted my own business as a consultant, using the experience that the past 20 years of schooling and on the job training provided me. Having very defined goals and dreams was key to me. By the way, I am 42, just got hired by the Small Business Administration as a Business Consultant, and am very content with my work and personal life.
Good luck to you!
