You really don't want to open this proverbial can of worms.
If you believe that God created everything according to a divine plan then nothing evolved from anything all things were created as is and finished as they are seen now
If you believe that God started out things in a simple form and let them evolve over time then the idea is not false
If you believe that life just happens then evolution is true
So you question would be very open ended
People will quote biblical scripture to support the idea that evolution is indeed false. Then others will come on and call those bible believers fundamental jerk wads or something similar.
Then you will seem true evolution. A simple question will evolve into a name calling bickering cat fight where both sides come off sounding like 4 year old kids on the play ground an all hope for intelligent discourse will be lost.
.
My suggestion to you is study all the evidence and come to your own choice and don't let some one force their ideas on to you

Evolution isn't true because an old book, poorly copied and modified to make sure people who had power kept it, says so. It isn't true despite over a century of examination, revision, confirmation, and successful prediction. It isn't true despite the fact that there are examples of commercially available products whose creation (sorry) would have been impossible without being informed by evolutionary theory, like the latest flu vaccine. It's not true despite there being complete consensus in the scientific community that the opposite is true.
In short, it's not true because you say so. And you are an awesome scientist.

*Scientifically* there is no evidence to support creationism. Evolution has been observed experimentally on both the small-scale ("microevolution" in creationist terms) and in terms of speciation.
However - if you want to take the bible stories as *literally* true (and to ignore all evidence to the contrary), then you can say "The Bible says the earth was created in 6 days, and all species were created at that time. The bible is God's word passed on to humanity, and is therefore infallible. Therefore evolution - forming new species, and especially deriving humans from ape-like ancestors - is not true."
Seriously - the only "evidence" for the non-truth of evolution is biblical literalism.
Old Earth Creationism (OEC: see details below) is actually (IMO) a worse "compromise", as it accepts an old earth (as geology etc. dictate), but still insists in a lack of evolution. It is therefore neither entirely faith-based (as Young Earth Creationism is) nor entirely evidence-based (as evolution is), but is a wishy-washy halfway house. IMO, the basic reasoning behind OEC is aesthetic ("I didn't come from no monkey!") and not scientific.
Looking for information on OEC and Intelligent Design will give you more pseudo-scientific "evidence" for lack of evolution.
Check my answer to this question for some more information on Old and Young Earth Creationism:

PS - I hope this is so someone else can give better evidence for evolution's existance?

Wow! someone asking to prove evolution isn't true! Amazing!
Whereas I am sure you will get many answers stating that evolution IS true, those will mostly be people who have accepted what they have been taught, and have never really searched out the matter for themselves. The "THEORY" of evolution is just that, a theory, and has never been proven. Those who say it has usually use examples of micro-evolution (better and more accurately known as adaptation of species) as their "proof". But that is not evolution in the sense that it is taught today. The whole concept of one species evolving from another has NEVER been proven, nor is it likely to be, since a lie cannot be proven.
There are many parts of the human body which are "irreducibly complex", that is, they must exist in their entirety or they cannot work. There is no proof of a partially developed eye, for example. The eye either developed all at one time (read: intelligently designed) or it would have had to develop (in evolutionary terms) over millions of years, in which case we should see evidence somewhere of a partially developed eye.
A simpler example is the egg. The egg itself is extremely complex even in its simplicity. It is porous, to allow the exchange of oxygen and CO2 that is required so that the developing embryo can breathe. There are membranes which aid in this exchanged lining the inside of the egg, without which the embryo also could not survive. The yolk sac provides food, and there is even a little air pocket at one end of the egg that allows the chick just enough air to breathe during the hatching process. According to evolutionists, this complex structure would have had to develop over (at least) thousands, possibly millions of years (evolutionists must use huge numbers to make their theory seem possible and plausible). If it took this long to develop the egg, how did any future generations of chickens ever come to be?
Evolution is a faith based religion, no less than creationism (for which creationists are ridiculed). Creationists believe in an intelligent designer, God, and can see His creative hand in the many beautiful and complex life forms and even non-life forms that are available to us to look at. Evolutionists prefer to place their faith in so-called science, which is not proven, but accepted as fact nonetheless.
Sadly, someday, the evolutionists will find themselves to be wrong, and all those who reject God in favor of science will someday bow down to that same God.
Better to honestly seek the truth, even if it means going in a direction you did not expect. Rather than blindly accepting the dogma of so-called science, open up your mind to the concept that there may be something you missed, that maybe there is an intelligent designer in the universe, and that there may, in fact, be a God!
I did, and I have never regretted it!

That is a question that you must go at from all fronts, sweetie. You seem a tad ambivalent about it, which means that you need to learn about this subject from the scientific and religious leaders in your area. Discover the difference between evolution, creation, and my favorite, intelligent design. This is one of those questions that has no clear-cut answer, but requires a little footwork of your own to find what works out best for you. Did god create me, did I evolve from a monkey, or did God make a monkey to evolve into me? Education is the answer.

Uphill battle, sorry. There's no "big smoking gun" scientific evidence against the theory of evolution.

Evolution probably is true. Unlike what the pure creationists say, evolution is probably God's method of creation.
There is lots of fossil evidence and quite a bit of recorded evidence from Darwin on to indicate that species are evolving even as you read this.

From a biblical standpoint it's not true because evolution took place over millions of years. According to the bible the Earth was created a little over 6,000 years ago. So it is false if you believe what the bible says.
To "prove" it's wrong, you can say that the Bible states Jesus died 2007 years ago, hence why we use B.C. (Before Christ) and A.D. (After Death) with dates. The Bible says that God created Adam about 4000 years before Jesus was crucified and died. That adds up to about 6000 years, and if evolution takes place over millions of years as the theory states, then evolution couldn't have possibly been true.

Evolution is there.
But not from ape-men into living human kind.
More likely from living human kind into cave-men and back into ape-men with living examples in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Getting kick on the butts as casualty of the dead Mummy in not worshiping God in climbing up the coconut trees and still look green.
Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49
Ever wonder back in the past when living human kind was cave -men.
They were of pygmy stature.
With time and advancement in food consumption and intake of salt they advance in time..
Luke 9.55
Ever wonder how a bunch of educated idiots were climbing up the coconut trees and still look green with loss of IQ?
Simple common sense also don't have.
What do you think?

I"ve always thought this little moth did a good job of proving evolution and natural selection to be a pretty much 'true' thing....
http://fishinsects.suite101.com/article.cfm/evolution_and_the_peppered_moth
and it all happened in our lifetimes..... pretty darned quick, eh?.... not all changes happen THAT fast, most are smaller, less noticeable, but the changes that DO happen, happen for a reason.... and that reason is still 'survival of the fittest'.....
