I have to exercise my memory to think back 54 years but I remember 6th grade as a wonderful time. I loved school from the first day. I thought my teachers were wonderful. I don't remember much homework but school was easy for me which was a real blessing. My uncle was the principal and my daddy was a teacher so I was always expected to do well and I expected it of myself. I was rather competitive. Times then were so different. The 1950's were such a calm, safe, innocent time for children. I wish today's kids could just be kids without all the dreadful things they have to be warned about.

When i was in sixth grade i paid a lot of atention to class. No i don't think i procastinated a lot. I did have a lot of homework. Yes i did like all of my teachers. I was worried if i brought home a C my parents would put me under punishment. I did have a lot of homework it depended on the class.
