Married 15 years, 36 yrs old.
My wife and I have relations once in a blue moon, when she is willing.
Alone, I have relations at least two times a week. No drop in desire or ability. Also, do you know that human cartilage never quits growing (until death)? Do you know what the male member consists of? At least old men have THAT! lol
Feel any better? I don't.

My husband is 50 and, quite honestly, his abilities were not up to par. This is natural as men age. It has to do with blood flow to their private part; stretching of the opening. So, when he needs a little extra help in that area, he will take Cialis and it does the trick. So, on an average we have sex 2-4 times a week. Some weeks are more; some less. I don't think men ever wish to slow down voluntarily and now that we have these 'medical marvels' there is no need to do so.

I am now, at 45, after 21 years of marriage, having sex lately a little more often with my wife than during most of our marriage. It's around 3 or 4 times per week. I think it's a matter of practicality. First off, our kids are old enough to where we're not the least bit worried to lock our bedroom door for awhile to have sex. Second, we don't feel tied to the convention of having sex at night like we somewhat used to feel -- we have sex sometimes when I get home from work, when we wake up on Saturday morning, in the middle of Sunday afternoon, or whenever we both feel like it. It's been nice lately.

46, married 19 years. We make love on a daily basis. But, I consider making love to be something more than genital/genital or genital/oral sex. Many days we simply practice what popular magazines call "tantric techniques." We have learned that orgasms can occur in almost any part of the body or in the entire body. We make time every day to at least touch and stare deeply into each other's eyes and fall in love again, yes daily.
Don't think I wouldn't enjoy banging 2-4 times a day. I would and can, but there is often not time for that.
We have coitus 3-4 times a week and practice mutual masturbation most days.

Been married for a little over 18 years and we make love just like we did our first year of marriage. About once every 6 weeks if I'm lucky. The wife never did really want to. :(

I have been with my wife for 9 years and if it was up to me we would still be having sex probably 3-4 times/week. Unfortunately I have the high sex drive between us and my wife stays hung up on little things that detracts from us in the bedroom.

General rule of thumb (not applicable to all): As men age the desire may still be there but the ability lessens. Some men need a bit of "help" from a pill as they age.
As women age, the desire increases considerably until menopause. Then it drops off drastically until post-menopause when it may again increase.

I'm 42, married 24 years. This depends on the individual couple. There are times that I want it often and wake him up during the middle of the night and then there are times that we tend to be so busy that we don't seem to make time for it. He likes to hunt so it seems that I get it less often during hunting season but we make up for it once hunting season is over. He doesn't seem to want it as much as he use to but I seem to now want it more.

I agree with most answers.My wife and i hardly ever have sex and it is not that i dont wont tooooo i want her 24 7 but guess what that never happens. We have been married 16 yrs. We only have sex when she wants it. Iwould do anything to plz her dont know what else i can do do prove that men want their wifes more than the wife wants them!!

I think it varies depending on the mood generally about 4-6 times a week.
