I am afraid that the best that can be said for homeopathy is that it is harmless, it is, bar any placebo effect also quite useless. The best description I heard for it recently was: imagine you throw a pint of beer into a reservoir and then start drinking the water on the assumption it will get you drunk.

Homeopathy is a rip-off, do some research into other methods. Ex-smokers always tell me they've tried everything and the *only* thing that worked was self-discipline. I know a guy who just told himself he didn't need to smoke, and another who taught himself to hate the taste of tobacco smoke. As a Buddhist you should be able to find ways of changing your attitude to cigarettes- ask at your local Buddhist centre and I'm they'll be able to help. Mine runs events on natural medicine but never homeopathy. Good luck!

I have been using an alternative therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique for anxiety and depression. It has really helped me a lot. I have been feeling a lot better since using EFT. It's very good at getting rid of all kinds of negative emotions and dealing with all kinds of issues quickly. It does sound crazy but does work. Might be something that can help you. If you type smoking in the search engine of emofree.com you should find some articles about EFT helping people give up smoking.
