a truck overturns on one of the major highways, and the engine catches fire engulfing a cab where the driver is trapped. a high patrol officer arrives on the scene and realizes that no one can get near enough to the cab to get the driver out. the driver sees the policeman and begs the officer to shot him so he wont have to suffer the pain of burning to death. the officer is close enough to kill him instantly. what should he do..?justify your answer..thanks

He should not shoot the driver.
God has created all of the human beings and so, onle He has the right to kill us. And yes, He can choose anyway of taking our life. We have to respect His decision. No human being has the right to kill any other human being bcoz of mercy. And no human being has the right to object His decision of which way to take life.

True. This is a horrible situation, but the officer cannot shoot the driver for many reasons... one of which is that he'd lose his job. Most officers will do everything they can to save the man, including grabbing a fire extinguisher from the trunk of his cruiser.

Sad though it may be, the driver will have to burn to death while efforts to rescue him continue in vain. We do NOT euthanize human beings...not on battlefields and not in accident scenes. To do otherwise is to commit murder.
