It is always beneficial to remain calm; the danger, and indeed everything else unpleasant that your mother-in-law inflicts on your family, can be avoided simply by applying lessons learned from Gunsmoke.
History shows the most effective method is to intrigue the old battle-axe with a bit of of choice gossip, and then to lasso and rope her like a steer while she is distracted.
Once bound securely, she can be carried to the pick-up truck, under the jealous gaze of your neighbours, who have neither sufficient rope nor courage to follow in your footsteps.

I don't know how amusing or even interesting this will be but here we go.
It's always beneficial to stay calm when danger is imminent.
Everything was quiet as the family watched Gunsmoke on television. Suddenly, Marshal Matt Dillon turned and stared through the screen. He pointed his gun and said "You're history". There was a loud bang.
As my brother related his dream to me, I had a feeling of intrigue. I must say I wasn't jealous, when I later found a bullet hole in the living room wall. Was it really a dream?

It is ALWAYS BENEFICIAL to remain CALM in the face of DANGER, but EVERYTHING in my FAMILY indicates that the first response to danger is usually gunfire rather than a calm, reasoned response. GUNSMOKE should be part of our family crest as our family HISTORY is rife with stories of gunfights and death.
Many of the gunfights were the direct result of the INTRIGUE between my family, the Ghouleys, and the Gnome family from the other side of the mountain. They were always JEALOUS of my family's ability to gain respect in the town, while the townspeople feared them and mocked them behind their backs.
My family didn't help matters over the years, constantly making fun of the gnomes' small stature. One of my relatives, a singer of some note, Robert Ghouley, even recorded a song, Short People, mocking them. So it's no surprise that we are not the best of friends. Perhaps future generations of our families will get along better, but for now it seems we can on get along on one day of the year, Halloween. Maybe that will lead to peace between our clans in the future.

jane and brian ALWAYS found that having a stiff drink before intercourse was BENEFICIAL. All was CALM on this lovely wednesday afternoon until brian found jane in the pub toilets with his best mate. Jane thought there would be no DANGER going there for her secret sex sessions until EVERYTHING came out because brian couldnt keep his nose out of the ladies loos. They had a FAMILY together brian exlaimed, what about the kids? It all went up in GUNSMOKE, brian flushed jane and karate chopped his best mate. The rest as they say is HISTORY. The other punters were peering round the door with INTRIGUE the whole time and saw everything go down. They were so JEALOUS they couldnt have wednesday afternoon sex in the pub loos!

As I am such a loving and caring person, i would ALWAYS try to make the best of a bad situation where it is BENEFICIAL to which ever party needs it the most and try and make CALM of the situation and make sure that no DANGER would result from EVERYTHING. One of my FAMILY members, my gran would say oh just let it all go up in GUNSMOKE and let it be HISTORY! But with me being a busy body or a nosey parker my INTRIGUE gets the better of me and I have to stick my beak in and I think if I resolve the situation then my gran is just JEALOUS!!!!! lol

The moon always rose in the East, so they thought
in the old shrunken valley of night.
Beneficial were the pills they bought,
as round as the moon and as bright.
The work of the pills was to bring calm and sleep
to them in their rooms after work
and when the moon rose in the West, no peep
did they utter, not even a chirp,
but danger did rise with the moon from the West
and everything came to a head
a wild family of trolls came down from the crest
of the old hills, though they were thought dead,
and they came to cause mischief- mischief they caused,
in that old shrunken valley of night,
and the acts of those trolls were no things to applaud
and you would not, if you had them in sight.
The clouds of the next morn were thin as gunsmoke,
and true smoke rose up from the ruins
History does not tell how, but along came this bloke
and he knew just what he was doing
when he sounded the siren and chased the trolls hard
to their hill cave, oh! this hero was zealous,
Was there intrigue? perhaps some, for he took a reward
of a prize that would make most men jealous,
the hand of my daughter, well, he asked for it,
as his pay, and I could not refuse 'em,
so she mounted his bike, and before you could spit,
they were gone, him still sounding his siren.
Woooooooo Wooooooo Woooooooo!

Henry always found it beneficial to remove the heads from his chest freezer with utmost calm. One false move and there was a danger everything about his missing family would be revealed. The trail of gunsmoke would lead to him, and his secret hobby would be consigned to the annals of history, no longer smothered in a veil of intrigue. Still, it was no more than they had deserved for being jealous of his career as a celebrity TV chef.

I always find that continual washing in cold water is beneficial for my well being. It makes me feel calm, and prepares me for the likelihood of any danger that might befall me.Everything and everyone seems more exciting, even my family.
"Gunsmoke" my dog likes to lick me after I have had a wash.
I reckon I will go down in history as the most washed person and people will look at me with intrigue and be jealous of me.

As always, the beneficial effect of keeping calm is thwart with danger. Everything seems to be family orientated against my wishes. If only I could get angry enough to shoot my money grabbing uncle, and I would then muse over the gunsmoke rising from his corpse, and history would repeat itself, after my sister shot our equally vile aunt. The police would be full of intrigue, as to why I did it. But I know deep down my sister would be jealous that she hadn’t shot our uncle first.

I find it's not always benificial to stay calm when facing danger. Everything cannot be that easy especially when dealing with my family. When I'm surrounded by Gunsmoke - they have a history of firearms offences (sorry, no intrigue there, it's just they are naturally jealous people). xx
