While it's good to hear a Dem is back in the KY statehouse, not sure Bush had much to do with this one; from what I understand Ernie Fletcher was his own WMD!
But be that as it may, things are improving. In Virginia, Dems took control of the State House and here in PA we gained a majority on the State Supreme Court -- important because they are responsible for redistricting, which is done every 10 years and will be up again in 2010.

Politicians are elected to do work, so if they don't do work, usually they are out of work the next election.
Politicians never learn, the Democrats are in power for a few election cycles and then they forget why they are there, then the Republicans get elected and then after a few election cycles, they forget why they are there. The cycle continues over and over.

Well -you know- they do suffer from delusions of grandeur.
Reality does not seem to be their strong suit.
Can't wait for next November! Hope Kentucky starts a dominoe effect.

Ernie Fletcher is crock pure and simple. The strangle hold the cons have held power with is slipping away. Soon the con plague will be over and sanity will be restored--if they don't invade another country or collapse the economy and destroy the country first.

It was a no brainer. Vote for a someone that has been indicted while in office, or someone who hasn't. No surprise that the election turned out as it did.
