I'm tempted to put out my inside decorations today. Is it too early? My fiance and i are a young couple, we don't have people over a lot so i figured it wouldn't bother anyone lol.
I figured its too early for outside lights?

Yeah. I'm just going to do the inside lights/decor today. My fiance will hate it but he knows i love christmas time. Halloween is my favorite holiday. My birthday is on thanksgiving this year, my 21st birthday at that. I love this time of year. I'm waiting until after my birthday to do the outside.

you know, you should do whatever you want to! we have been talking about putting up some of our things today as well...we figure our kids would enjoy it.
as far as my family traditions...my parents have always put up the tree and stuff the day after Thanksgiving. but i am always impatient about it and i hate taking it back down so I wait until after the first of january to put it back up!

I put mine up the day after Thanksgiving, but that is because I decorate inside and outside for every holiday so I have Thanksgiving decorations up right now.

Well in my opinion a good time to put out Christmas lights after Thanksgiving. In my town the majority either put the lights up the day after Thanksgiving or on December 1st. If you already have the lights up it wouldn't hurt to put them up after Thanksgiving but there is no point in putting them up before Thanksgiving because all you would be doing is skipping a holiday.

its your house who cares what other people think i am the same way it is taking everything i have not to decorate lol i love this time of the year also my 2 year old sons birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year too!! So Happy Birthday from Us

I believe it's all right to put christmas decors this time of the year. We usually put ours right after halloween. So what if you're feeling the Christmas spirit early?:)

If you have a lot of lights, go ahead and start putting them up.
Many of the extreme decorators have already started in anticipation of an early Thanksgiving light up.

here in the Philippines, we start to put christmas decors a week after the holloween... that's next week...
