I think so...I am a woman of color and I really believe he was sincerely sorry for the comment he made. I wonder if his son still feel that the couple thousand dollars he got from the tabloids was worth the pain he caused his father. We are all HUMAN people.

I do believe his apology was sincere. It's a shame that Tucker sold out his family for $$$. As I've heard he is a drug addict & they'll do whatever to get a high. He & his girl will pay dearly one day. My favorite saying is "What goes around comes around" & Tucker & his girl has a lot coming their way. They not only messed with Dog, but also Beth, their small children, Leland & his family, Duane Lee, Lisa , Tim & his family.
What low life the two of them are!!!

i didn't see it but i heard a clip of it on the radio , i dont think he's sorry. Sorry that people heard it but not sorry he used it. Thats the way he felt and im sure he still feels like using that word towards her, especially now.

i personally dont think it should be used at all. But with the way some people throw it around like nothing it's hard to know where the line is for anybody.

the biggest argument i hear ( i've even had a black friend tell me this) is, there is a difference between a N----- and an African American/ Black person, just as there is a difference between a White Trash-Honky-Cracker and a Caucasian/White person. You dont hear me screaming for someones job when someone on tv calls a white person, Cracker and Honky, because odds are they're probably talking about a white person who...well is trash and a Honky.

either way maybe no body should use it since its so hard to draw the line, and his son should be ashamed. Don Imus is back Dog will be too.

yes I think so as well . also may I add that he did not say anything worse than what these rappers say in their songs and they are still on the airwaves . why is it fair that dog be removed from his show and the rappers are still on the air ? I really respect the man because he has put up with a junkie crackhead son in and out of prison and yet has stuck by him . Says something about what kind of father he is huh? and furthermore he is a saint in my book. I think that girl is a piece of trash because she went along with his son in selling that recording to the enquirer . Good luck and god bless.

I'm shocked that Al Sharpton has not gone out of his way here to crucify another white man for a poor choice in words as he did to Don Imus.

Dog, is a man who openly admitts he makes mistakes, and he goes out of his way to pay society back for his wrong doings. The man has gone to jail for murder, paid a debt to society, is a devoted family man, and works with the law to put criminals behind bars. He's even had to stand trial in Mexico because he went after rapist Andrew Luster, heir of the Max Factor fortune. When Luster used his money to skip bail and flee to Mexico, it wasn't the FBI or US Marshalls who brought him back, it was Dog. Dog was the man who gave three violated women justice.

The "N word" as it's called, needs to be dropped from society. As do all other racial slurs such as ones used to describe Whites, Asians, Hispanics, etc. Will it though? I doubt it. As long as the word remains so prominent in popular music (The song "Life Goes On" by Tupac mentions the "N word" around twenty times in the song), it's going to slip into society as people are influenced by things such as music.

Is it right to even consider destroying a good man over a stupid mistake he regrets? I don't think so. As for the "N word", it will be nothing more than a problem until all of society drops it from their vocabulary.

I think that he was, I truly believe that he didnt say what he did as a rasist comment, you can see how he treats people on his show and he is very caring to each and every person and pays no attention to their color, I think this whold situation was blown way out of proportion.

I believe so too. I have heard him speak in interviews before this incident. He is a surprisingly spiritual man...but he is also coarse...a product of his upbringing. His speech reflects his lifestyle much more than any ill-intent that he has against people of color.

I hope he can come back from this. He's a good man.

Well, regardless to him being sincere or not, this is a perfect example of children that are extremely spoiled and needs a good spanking. This conversation was between a father and his son, which I hope Dog has disowned, as even the black community should disown him as well. I think the girl deserves better then this trader.

well i do believe he is truly sorry for offending anyone i dont believe that he is sorry for saying it....i am a white woman married to a African American man and have children with him....i do say that word once in a while in our house just like i would say b---h or any other word but i never say it out side of our house out of respect for others b&w because u dont know how they will respond...my husband knows i mean no disrespect and it is just another word in our house in facthe will say it to me (in a joking manner ) and its no big deal but even he does not say the word outside of our house out of respect also ..i think that may be the case with Dog and he never expected his own son to sell him out for money..who would

Apology, and sincerity are not enough in my opinion. He said it. He proved that he is a bigot and he was caught using his own words. Where's Al Sharpton when you need him. Mr. Chapman's show should be cancelled.
