i tunes is deleting my music?

okay so i add files to my itunes library, but when i restart my computer, the ones that i just added are no longer there....
WTF?

Strange. Try opening iTunes and clicking on File > Add File to Library. Then see if you can find the new music.

If not, contact Apple at 1-800-APPLE. Did you receive receipts from the iTunes store, or did you get them from a CD?
