the smart hdd drive has been disabled what do i do

Make sure there are no floppy disks or CD's in the drives. Has anybody been working on the PC? They may have loosened a cable. Otherwise you may need to see a repair shop.

Ring customer support for where you got it from, and claim you had nothing to do with it.

you should be more specific with your question.... anyway it's an initiative to check for loose connections inside your cpu.... try to check your bios setup too by restoring/loading it to default settings.
