Because of your emo outlook of life. Try and view life as a more positive experience.

Because your asking other people why your life is a waste instead of asking your self why YOUR life has been a waste. And also, the real question you should be asking is IF your life has been a waste. Or stop using past tense (has) because your life hasn't ended yet and I assure you, it will not be a waste. Try thinking of different things other than how you lived your life, like how you WILL live the remainder of your life... Nobody's life is a waste because you get to experience things while living whether it is good or bad.

If you still believe that your life is a waste, then just recycle it...

Have you been smoking? Smoking depresses people and has no good effects. so DUMP THE CIGAR!

But anyway, depression can happen to anyone - it's like nothing can make you happy. Just live life, enjoy it while you can. Everyone was born for a reason, everyone was blessed with the potential to be great (: Your life is NOT a waste, nobody's life is a waste. God loves you. Be happy!

To put it simply: Lack of Upgrades.

If you're a real person behind the profile:

--You need to question your outlook on life, or rethink it entirely, as others have mentioned. Ask yourself why you think your life has been a waste? By what standard? What were you expecting? The rather loaded wording in the question just *begs* to be hacked, diagrammed, and picked apart literally word for word here.

But you knew that. Point is, *we* as humble entities on this internet can't do *your* thinking for you. You haven't given us sufficient details to allow us to even try--we don't even know you, really. So *you* are really the Expert on *being you* here. Look at your life....look at what you're doing with it. Yes, even *not doing* something is a decision and an action in some ways. And look at the reasoning, if any, behind your need to compare your life to others and criticize it so. Don't just ask what you've done wrong here...

Ask what you've done right, and what you can do better next time you get the chance to. ^_^

--And, in all fairness....there is more to the concept of "waste" than mere failure. It sounds to me like *stagnation* might also be an issue. So...

Make an effort to shake things up. Actually *plan for* some random, unplanned time. I know, it sounds odd when you put it that way, but the idea is to *allow* yourself, to give yourself permission to go out there and try *New Things*, at face value, just as they are, without judging or criticizing right away. Just go out there and do something new.....and let it be what it is. Don't try to judge or interpret. It's harder than it sounds, but worth the trouble. ^_^

And now, the fun part. ^_~

If you *are indeed* who you say you are:

--Man, it must suck to be Max Talking Headroom in the Playstation Era. ^_^ *lol* Even the lamest, most poorly planned *crap* PSOne games look better than you do.

Get on the phone, talk with people about upgrading the hardware. In human terms, improve your fitness for your purpose.

--Rework the purpose. Having a computer program stutter and act all twitchy is No Longer! No Longer! F-F-F-Funny. Everybody knows that stuff by heart, and in this day and age of modern technology, where the average *cell phone* has more processing power than your original hardware does (see above), the behavior isn't cute, it's annoying.

So look into software and possibly Operating System upgrades, after having a thorough run through a *debugger* and some serious anti-virus software. In Human terms, Get a New Wardrobe (keep the haircut though, It's still cool with me), consider other careers besides stand-up comedy, upgrade to a full body with a full terrain and background. Erm, that is, stop being so cerebral, get out there and enjoy life a little, live *in your body* and in your senses out in the real world. People can only write from what they know, and this holds true, really, of *ALL* art, from pop music on down. So yeah, get a hobby, do some volunteer work, maybe do some yoga and meditation. Oh, and the debugging...get on some medication (anti-depressants have improved somewhat) and get some counseling.

--And finally....get *patches* for whatever is left of your original software. ^_^ Meaning, in human terms....invest in some speech therapy to fix the stutter, look into some poise and posture training (either of the theatrical/modeling sort, or of the Pilates sort), look into yoga (see above) to loosen up a little, and please, please (P-P-Please! even), get some culture, look into something *more than* music videos and their YouTube counterparts for your entertainment and media fixes.

There...that should cover the basics. ^_^ Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your time. O_O Grrr....gotta get going, it's contagious.

Life is an experience... it is never a waste..... you just need to see it dispassionately.... it is your unfulfilled passions that make you feel as though the life has been a waste...... moreover, there is probably still a lot of life left and it is then too early in the day to tick it off one way or another.

We're all going to die. Unless you do something spectacularly beneficial to mankind which is exceedingly unlikely, your life is a waste anyway.

Since discovering the cure for cancer is *probably* not in your hands, all you really have to offer is to enjoy your life to your greatest ability. And maybe others will be inspired by your joy, and that in itself is a beneficial contribution to mankind.

Time better spent...look into yourself and ask who you've touched and why your life has NOT been a waste. There is good in everyone.

honestly, i agree with SMALL...life is not and will never be a waste...

it is not life that is wasted....... it is your TIME that had been a waste.... if you think that you are unsuccessful...

it's just your perceptive that is wrong.... remember that there are two sides of a coin... there's a negative and a positive.... it's just up to you... to choose one of it......

just to give you quote.... life is WHAT you WANT it to be....
