how do you dig out ores in the mines ??

First you have to open the real mines, and not the mining lobby. Enter the mine between 9pm and 11pm with your hammer in inventory and you will enter a cenematic where you open the first mine.

In the mine are large rocks, hit them with the hammer and you could get ore out of them. The deeper you go, the more likely you are to get ore, and the more likely it will be higher quality ore.
