I have 3 holes in each ear. The first one I did myself when I was a teenager and it didn't hurt at all. The second one was done by a jeweler and it was just a quick sting. But the third one was done in a all-service piercing place, and maybe because it was up higher on the ear and was closer to cartilage it hurt like he!!. Enough so that I blacked out for a few seconds. But it was worth it!

When done with an ear piercing gun you will feel a little pressure, a pinch and a slight sting. Then they will be sore for a couple of weeks until they really start to heal.

I got my ears pierced in the summer of 1984. It was painful.

hmm.
i got mine pierced un-professionally yesterday.
Sittin in class my firend just poked an earring through.
I am a 18 yr. old female.
it feels like..not bad. it will make you flinch 2 times
when it goes through the front, then the back,
but it will be sore.

aww it's not so bad. it's quick, and hardly painful. take your thumb and pointer finger and give your ear lobe a quick pinch. that might even hurt a little more than the piercing. lol
i have my tongue and eyebrow pierced also.. now that hurts ;)

Kinda like someone pinched your ear...the feeling goes away in about 2 minutes or so.

It stings for a little bit , then your ears get all hot and then you are fine.
