i need to reinvert it 'coz my original photo was gone

A photo mosaic is (from your context) an image made from hundreds or thousands of pictures each of which is used as a pixel tone in the result. Thus distance viewing shows an image, such as a portrait, and close viewing shows tiny pictures, perhaps related to the portrait.
So to revert it, what you need to do is take a picture of it at as high a resolution as possible or copy the image file and in a photo editing program change the size and pixel resolution until you are satisfied with the result. Basically you are cutting the dozens or hundreds of pixels in each of the component pictures down to a few pixels, producing as output what you see when you take a 200x200 pixel picture and blow it up so large you see the little blurry squares of the pixels.
