For me I'm still in High school and i have to say I'm one of the most popular people at school. From what i have heard people talk about positive stuff behind my back and they always say hey. What bout the rest of you guys? Any luck with popularity?

NOPE! I was a pure unadulterated BANK GEEK! with a great sense of humor.

P.S. Let me clue you in on just one thing tho....your popularity or lack of will do nothing for or against you in the real world. It is all just 'fluff'!

I'll tell you about my high school (mid 1980s keep this in mind) ... It was humungous and the cliques were very very small and from what I saw, they never fought with each other. I wasn't popular, but then again, with the way things were there, I suspect no one really was because as I said earlier cliques were very very small, like 4 people at most and that was rare. It seemed to be mostly cliques of 3 and they usually bonded over positive stuff (in other words, same interests, not negative meanness or arrogance anything like that)

There was a girl Julie who was not liked by several other girls because she was extremely pretty, but she held her own. For the most part she didn't let the other girls get to her and the other girls weren't super mean to her, they just gossipped behind her back ocassionally

I wasn't popular but I had a few pals who were nice and kept me current

Today I am still friends with one of these pals

I have always been kind of popular I guess...blessed with good looks and boyish charm I suppose...I was a surfer boy in HS...had some good friends and one or two cute GF's...I guess i was kinda popular, but I never gave it a second thought...years later still don't.

hell yeah
all the guys want to be just like me and the girls follow me all day
no not really but people do say positive stuff about me and say hi so yeah by that definition I'm popular
but I can go from one 'group' (kinda like a 'clique'-if youve seen Mean Girls, you'll know what I mean) to another talking to people and they don't mind
poopularity is such a burden, isnt it????

I was never considered "popular" when I was in high school.

I was EVERYONE'S friend...I chose to aggravate ALL cliques at my school-since I was so funny no one hated it! I guess I was popular for being the class clown-the entire class of '98 that is-not just in biology.

I graduated in 1985... I was one of those people that fit in with all the groups of people - I wasn't in any one group, but felt like I fit in with none of them. I don't keep in contact with any of them. The thing about high school is AFTER high school... except for grades to get you into college, NONE of it really matters!

I'm presently there. I'm not popular, but I do know quite many people and when they see me they're friendly enough and say hi.

I wasn't at all. I went to a school filled with 900 'Trendy Wendy's' who didn't take to kindly to a short, chubby, vampiric freakshow wondering their halls.
