erm...... when you bludgeon someone to death. When you jack their car and drive it off a bridge, when you make the crazy guy that sells pretzels on the corner eat paste for a buck........... when you give a guy in a wheelchair a wedgie, when you sleep with someone else's spouse, when you stick a pencil up someones nose to see if you can pull their brain out.......... dude i so could go on and on. lol

"I'm sorry" works for most things IF you really mean it!!!! But um, as you can see, there ARE execptions to the rule! *sighs* good lord, what is wrong with you? LOL. ♥

yes, yes...... i agree with Sally; 'I'm Sorry' ALWAYS ought to be followed with, "Can you please forgive me," ..... shows true repentance.♥

In my opinion:
If you do something where your own stupidity or ignorance affects another then sorry can or may cover it.
But if you do something deliberately, we aren't even saying intentionally. For instance, if you went out of your way to do something stupid, sorry wouldn't cover it. If you did something premeditated, again sorry wouldn't cover it.
Then there is the degree of the severity of the offense; someplace in there, is the boundaries where sorry applies and where it doesn't, a gray area.

When it is used flippantly with no sincerity or when it is for something that is reoccurring, like bad behaviour that is repeated time and again with no effort at change. The "I'm sorry" just becomes words.

If you did something knowing it would hurt someone else, saying sorry will not cut it.

When it is not followed by " please FORGIVE me"
That part is important if they are truly sorry. Asking for forgivness and proving they can make it up to you.
You then have the right to forgive or not. That would clearly state weather the Sorry is accepted!

when i was a kid, my sisters and i were taught that 'saying sorry does not make it ok to hit your sister all the time' ..lol. so sorry doesn't cut it when you do something intentionally, thinking saying sorry afterwards is going to be o.k.

When you have said it a million times but you just keep doing the same stuff. That means its just words they have no meaning if you meant your apology you would not have done the same thing again.
