A poll by UKTV Gold placed the law that makes it illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament number one in a list of the UK's most ludicrous pieces of legislation.

Too late Gordon Brown's been doing it for ten years...

As for my favourite stupid law, that would be the law that always a pregnant woman to urinate anywhere in London including in a policeman's helmet. Love to see that happening.

1. It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament

first Ive heard of it and that is really ludacrous. Yeah I would want to die in the houses of parliament as i would have the last laugh....What could they do about it. My favourite ladacrous law is that one I have just heard. Another law that has never been repealed is....'It is against the law to drivwe a motor car on a sunday' Imagine how many repeat offenders are getting away with that one every week.

I wouldn't want to enter the Houses of Parliament really, let alone die in there!
As for my favourite law:
It is illegal for a woman to be topless in public except as a clerk in a tropical fish store. (Liverpool law)!

Some funny laws about. ie All Hackney cabs have to carry a bail of hay. This originates from the time of horse driven cabs.

no! fact...its a illegal for a woman to go topless in liverpool....unless....she works in a fish shop! if you live in scotland and someone knocks your door and asks to use your toilet the law states you have to let them!
