No! They drive me nuts! Dope operas is what they are to me! As if life isn't challenging enough, then you've got to watch other people's trauma, albeit, only actors portraying situations. I guess they are so popular because people love to watch a train wreck even if it is only fake!

I used to watch "Guiding Light" but quickly lost interest. Honestly, if you miss like two episodes, there's new love plots and everyone is messing around with someone else. It's a little hard to keep track of who's doin' who.

i used to watch mexican telenovelas, especially the ones that thalia starred.. now i love to watch korean telenovelas because it is very funny and romantic at the same time..
