and everything is great .. The baby is measuring fine..but The due date from the ultrasound said that she was due on Nov. 9th now.which makes no sense at all!! My original due date given was Oct 29th. Also the tech. told me that she is about 8lbs 6 ozs...Give or take a pound! how accurate have ultrasounds been for people in the past in reguards to weight. And how the heck is it give or take a pound! LOL..That seems like a huge amount to skip one way or another! All I'm thinking is ..OMG!! 9lbs 6 ozs! Haha

my last ultrasound said about 7 1/2 ,she was 9pd!!! Hello thats a pound and a half!! Also dates were all over the place so they took the earliest date as it is the most accurate!

Take the dates and measurements with a grain of salt as it is never ever accurate (or rarely anyway) because of fluid distortion and scan inaccuracy.

Your bub will be here soon enough and you will know for sure then. There is nothing you can change now anyway, its gonna happen soon!

good luck

ultrasounds are about half right most of the time i have 6 more weeks to go before my due date and i asked my co-worker who is an us tech to do a us on me and she told me the same thing she told me my baby was about 4 lbs give or take a pound and my husband asked her how accurate she was and she said that the u.s. can really show you or let you know how much your baby has grown and weighs now your baby just might be 8 lbs 6ozs or 7lbs 6 ozs one thing for sure if your baby was nine lbs that would have induce you and did a sesection so don't panick everything will be ok.

The information from the tech even though it may be interesting, just is not your doctor's. Discuss this the next appointment with your doctor. In my family the tech pronounced a big girl to be a big boy. Mom and dad had to take back all those clothes. The medical profession ,no matter which one, makes many errors. Nobody is perfect. Sooooo, just rest easy Mom.
