I confessed a while ago, what did you confess of?

Confess? What does perfection have to confess? I haven't in a long time, not to a priest. If I have an issue with someone, I speak directly to them, that way there is no excess baggage in my heart or weighing my soul down. God knows me, and being a creature of habit, sometimes I repeat mistakes, sometimes I have naieve thoughts about the world, and I get slapped with reality, and my first instict is to be defensive. I never think anyone would be upset with me, and when they are, I am shocked. Like I said, if I have a problem with someone, I can deal with that individual. But if I feel like people are banding against me, and oh, the horrible things that people say when they are upset are difficult to forget. I live like the opposite of what people have done to me, I hope to never hurt people as I have been hurt. There are people who owe me more than an apology, but I am not waiting around for them, understand, what wrongs have been done to me, I do not use them as an excuse to hold myself back and keep myself down. I owe no one but myself for my accomplishments, and I am damn proud of myself. Anyone who can not appreciate that, well, they can just go to hell. Which brings me back to not going to a priest. I am spiritual, not religiously bound, and I feel this gives me the freedom to accept all others regardless of their faith, and I think that as soon as others know that about me, the are more comfortable with me. That is wonderful. But I am not a doormat for people to use to clean the dirt from their shoes. I am a strong, independant, selfsufficient beauty. Conceited, perhaps, a bit daft even. But I am honest with others, and I am loving of all, but if you make the mistake of mistreating me or disrespecting me, wa hayat allah, you're going to be in the shithouse with me, and it's not a nice place.

I sometimes confess when I sometimes do wrong. I don't confess accidents. I confess being quiet when I know things that help people but I don't say them. It feels wrong but it is not a lie.

I don't like lies because if you tell one then, invariably, you have to tell two more to cover it up. Then you've got three lies you need to cover up so that becomes nine lies. It takes 27 lies to cover up 9 lies. Now you've got to cover those 27 lies. So you're up to 81 lies and you find you have to talk all day long to cover them up with 243 more lies.
So you buy a photo copier and start making copies of your lies and you keep a mailing list of everyone you need to lie to. You go to the post office to get a bulk rate permit to mail out the 729 lies you need in order to cover up the last 243. 729 lies times 3 means you have to live at the post office and be on the phone all day and all night in order to tell 2,187 lies.
Finally you collapse from exhaustion and sleep for 3 days. You have a dream. You dream you are buried from the neck down in feces. So you tell the truth and suddenly the feces are all gone and you are standing naked in front of the whole world. You lift your arms and they are wings so you start to fly and you're so happy you start making love to everyone you see and you have an orgasm in your dream.
Then you wake up because there's a knock on the door. Your best friend walks in and says: what's that wet spot on the bed... So you say: "The cat did it." She says: "but you don't have a cat" and the whole cycle starts over again.
So now I just confess: "It's come." and fly away.

well, if you would ask me about the "confession" (sacrament) i would say that i have confessed for at least three times already. but some christians say that we should confess for at least twice a year. (and I haven't done it!)
