I had thrush when i was 33 weeks pregnant and the doctor gave me that diflucan pill (it is for yeast infections which that is what thrush is) and also for the pain they gave me something to spray in my mouth called hurricane spray which helped.
That one pill cleared it up in less than 2 days.
I don't know what creams you are talking about cause they will give that liquid stuff called Nystatin drops for thrush in babies and for adults. She needs to see a doctor.

go to your pharmacy and ask for a tube of CHLORTRIMAZOLE 2%
it's safe as a topical treatment, and won't harm the baby.
Alternatively, sometimes, if a woman's immune system is good, her body will cure it naturally, but I'd rather get the cream and make sure. a thrush infection left for too long could bring complications to the baby.

Does she have thrush in her mouth or on the breasts? Thrush can be treated both topically and orally with an ointment like Nystain and also a pill called Diflucan.

Drink loads of water and cranberry juice to help. She can use canestan cream available at the chemist for the itchiness or see the doctor.
