I can never get a handle on this kind of violence. I can't even in my darkest imagination figure out these kind of crimes. There are may victims here. The alcoholic's wife, son, family, himself, and society. Should the wife and son be punished? Absolutely they were judge jury and executioners. Society can not allow this kind of thing to go unpunished. When you are in an abusive situation sometimes it seems difficult to find a way out. However you must before you become like your tormentor.

I would say both. If the wife was severly abused however there are plenty of outreaches for her. Is it wrong to kill an abuser? Its not right to kill anyone, but Im sure if he had a history of abuse the final murder ended up as self defense. Its a sad story and unfortunatley the mother and her child will have to pay the ultimate price. Insanity will more than likely play some type of role in this and the child and mother will get off. We dont know the whole story and Im sure it was a chilling horrible sad family life.

this is a very concept frightening question. The justice gadget is extremely failing whilst it includes violent criminals. You rape and kill somebody and serve 2 many years. You attack and molest little ones and you get 10 years. somewhat appalling. this is whilst i might say, "it somewhat is approximately time somebody is looking after the priority." So i might condone it. yet, who're we to take justice into our palms? What if this vigilante placed an concept interior the incorrect head? What if in some unspecified time interior the destiny he made a mistake? might we actually experience safeguard and risk-free understanding that there is somebody obtainable who has the potential to take lives so gracefully and with such precision? ask your self that. and that i provide you 2 thumbs up for posting the main concept frightening question I even have study.

i haven't gone to the link yet but i'll say...
the violent alcoholic is the victim. yes, his wife was the initial victim because clearly, she's with an alcoholic and brutally abused.
but then instead of knocking him unconscious to get the police in, she decapitated him. that's first degree murder. (i think. i don't do law talk.) so the suspect now becomes the victim and the victim is now a suspect.
despite her reasons and pleas (for example) of self-defense, there is no need to decapitate another human being and then dispensing his body parts seperately.
BUT! if brought to court, the judge would probably assign a psychiatrist for her to analyze her state of mind. most probably, she'd gone bonkers from all those abuse. and thus, making both parties a victim of their own crime.
the violent alcoholic is a victim of his own crime; his constant abuse of the alcohol and his wife led him to his own death. he is still considered a suspect (or whatever you call it in the law world).
and the wife is a victim of her husband's abuse. although she murdered--or not--her husband for whatever reasons and then chopping him up, if her mental health is found unstable, the case will be closed because she is the victim of her husband's violentness.
am i making sense? is it confusing? you get my drift though, right? =D

I guess it all depends on what he did to them. He could have been abusive emotionally or physically. Maybe he wouldn't let them leave. Maybe he kind of kept them prisoner, and this was the only way for them to get out? But what have they escaped to? Prison most likely. I guess unless you know the situation inside and out, you really can't defend either party.
