You or I would never think of doing that but not all people think the same.
Some people blame religion, I guess because of John Lennon's song. However; the Jewish religion and the Christian one teach peace and harmony. The Buddhists teach compassion for all living beings. Therefore murder and war can't be a result of those religions.
I don't know enough about Hinduism but I know they teach the law of Karma; whatever you do to someone else will be done to you, in this life or the next one. Anyone who believes that will not go around murdering other people.
John Lennon was wrong when he wrote his song. I think that Satan and his lies are a likely culprit, but we have our personal responsibilities too.
The main cause of wars is kings. Usually, democracies only want to be left alone. Kings usually want to increase their territory, at least that's the way it's been down through history. Just because a king calls himself by some other name; if he's the boss for life, then he's a king.

I don't think it's fair to call an action good or bad, only it's outcomes, this is called utilitarianism. There are instances where killing another is justified and moral. Your question presupposes an answer, your reasoning is that if everyone's doing it, therefore it must follow that it is possible that it's ok.
Well I don't agree with your question at any level, but I will say that as long as we have the liability of physical bodies, there will always be violence. We cannot escape that.

Because the world is full of evil people, thats because satan the devil is here and earth making people do all these things as he knows that soon God will put a stop to all wickness , The devils days are numbered and he knows it so he is making the world as bad as possible before he is destroyed. Then all the poor innocent people that died will be brought back. Deep and hard to believe I am sure but its true.

There really isn't so much of it going on. Most people who watch the news will have that idea, as that is all that is on there.
