There lies a fantasy match in itself. Here's what I think:
The match would start off with the original 4 working great as a team, Luger and Malenko would have some miscommunication factors allowing Anderson to pin Luger. Luger and Malenko would be arguing outside the ring, Benoit would jump down to help Malenko while Windham got his teeth kicked in by Flair. Sid would come down and get Luger away from ring side. Flair would tag in Blanchard, Windham would manage a reversal and tag in Benoit. Benoit would knock Flair and Arn out of the ring, Benoit reverses a clothesline from Ole into the Crippler Crossface and gets him to submit.
The match would continue going either way, but the Brain Busters, along with Benoit and Malenko would all get DQed for brawling in the ring.
Referee would go down while Flair and Windham go at it. Flair goes to work on the knee but Hennig runs down and turns the match to favor his tag team partner. Hennig leaves and Windham hits the Superplex. Jeff Jarrett runs in with the guitar and smashes it over Windham. All three men are down (Including the referee)! Flair starts to show signs of life. Mongo walks to the ring. There's been enough interferance and the only just horseman wants this to end clear cut. Sting attacks Mongo with the bat and gets out of there. Flair applies the figure 4 on Windham, referee is still down. David Flair forces Charles Robinson to call the match. Windham taps out. Ric Flair, David Flair, and James J. Dillon celebrate in the ring.
How's that for a fantasy horseman match?

I'd go with the original four members simply because they have more experience together as a unit.

The team of Luger, Windham, Benoit, and Malenko would still be pretty formidable, though. Luger is a solid wrestler. Benoit, Windham, and Malenko are some of the best technical wrestlers in history.

i'll prefer the four horsemen team of barry windham, lex luger, chris benoit and malenko..... coz it looks much balanced.....beniot and malenko are probably the best technical wrestlers ever seen in the history of pro-wrestling.Luger was considered overrated by some people but he was a great powerhouse and barry windham was a smooth wrestler.........the orignal team was good too but i'll prefer the other one
