The biggest mistake you can make in fantasy basketball is cutting a guy early in the season after a slow start for some flash in the pan free agent who is playing over his head only to watch the guy you dropped catch fire as the season progresses.

Diop is actually a good player, but Rotoworld announced that Erik Dampier is already practicing and could join the team next week, meaning Diop goes from his uncontested minutes back to a time share and there is only so much he can do in 24 mins on a loaded Mavs squad that for the most part is no longer a high flying fantasy friendly offense.

Nene was a monster at the end of last year, he injured his ankle in the FIBA tounrnament and could not run on it for the rest of the summer leaving him terribly out of shape and in Coach Karl's doghouse.

Denver runs a super fantasy friendly offense in the PHX and Golden State run and gun style. Once Nene gets himself in shape he will go right back to the 14 pts 8 rebs 1 blk 1 stl numbers he was posting last year. Reggie evans is gone and Kenyon Martin will not play more than 20 mins as per Karl and as in last night's game will not play in back to back games at all.

Bottom line give Nene another couple of weeks, guaranteed Diop will stop producing when his minutes drop anyway and there will be better options available as guys start to get hurt.

Hope this helps
