Because Chad Johnson doesnt take the game seriousley and their line needs another really good guy. Chris Henry is out and hes a big part of the offense. Their defense is the biggest problem though, they cant stop the run for nothing! If they would trade CJ for a linebacker like maybe Jonathan Vilma who is top 3 middle linebackers in the NFL then he would be a major boost. Their middle linebacker now is Anthony Schlegel, a linebacker the Jets cut cuz he wasnt good enough. THE JETS CUT HIM? WOW he musta stunk! Leon Hall is a rook, Joseph is still learning. So fixing the Bengals is quiet easy. Just trade Chad Johnson to the Jets for Vilma, draft the best available outside linebacker with their first pick, and the best DT with their 2nd pick. Go after a lineman in FA, and draft a Receiver in the 3rd round or so. Move Houshmandzadeh to the #1 receiver, Henry to the 2nd and Perry to the 3rd. If they would make these moves, I guarantee they would be a Super Bowl contender.

Well sometimes when teams lose it affects their belief in themselves and causes then to point fingers and think only negative thoughts. I don't know if thats the case here, but it almost seems like the Bengals have fallen into a vicious cycle! Chad Johnson is a competitor, and losing really bothers him! But I think it bothers him way too much! I can see him wanting out of Cincinnati in the future! Kinda like what T.O. did but far less severe.

The Bengals seem to have some internal problems with Chad Johnson being the way he is. Causing a scene all the time and talking down his team mates. Chris Henry hasn't helped matters either being suspended.

Injuries on defense and players being suspended for violations. Rudi getting hurt didn't help and it seems like Carson Palmer always is in a position to win the game in the 4th quarter but turns it over.

Too many off-field problems with players getting arrested, or it could be the teams within the division have their game plan figured out, or the Patriots put their game plan videos on eBay..

They have too many scumbag players. You have one or two and if the rest of the guys are good apples you're ok but when you get a bunch of these guys together look out.

They can't concentrate on the games, what with hiring a lawyer, making arrangements to travel for their hearings, securing bail, and finding people to buy off for alibis. It's a lot of work, man, get off their backs.
